Bug's Birthday Party

Bug's had a Lady Bug birthday party to celebrate her turning 2!

Here is the cute cake that mommy made.

Are you having fun at your birthday party? Everyone came to see you! A little overwhelming maybe?

Overall Bugs did very well with all of the people there. She did really good opening all of her presents! She was very interested in them and never got bored (like at Christmas). She loved all of the cute clothes she got. I guess it is a girl thing, because Brother asked why she got so many clothes. Obviously he wasn't very impressed. One funny story; Grandma C. had also brought a present for Brother and happened to stick it with all of the other presents. It was wrapped in Spiderman paper and of course that is the first present Bugs went for! I guess you can tell that she has an older brother.

Basketball, Basketball

We went to a Basketball game tonight and had a great time! Brother had received some free tickets from school, so we all packed up and went out to dinner and then the game. We are not big sports fans, so this was the first time that we saw this team play. It was so much fun! Even Bugs had a good time (a little restless at times, but overall she was very good). The kids loved making lots of noise, dancing to the music and watching the mascots being goofy. Oh yea, the game was really good too! It was a very close game with lots of action. The half-time entertainment was awesome! It was the "Quick Change" couple that have been on TV. They do some magic tricks and are famous for instantly changing their clothes (and hair, etc) in mere seconds while a pretty much SEE THROUGH, sheet is waved in front of them. I don't know how they do it, and I was watching pretty close. I almost missed them due to diaper changing duty...Next time Daddy is in charge of diaper duty!

PS: the title is a quote from Greece 2 (one of my favorite movies!)...I can see and hear the coach saying it now! If you would like any other quotes from that movie, just ask...I can recite every line...Special talent I have.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Friday night we had a full house as we set about coloring Easter eggs. It was a great evening with much fun to be had.

Brother's Birthday Dinner

For Brother's birthday, we took him out for dinner. Both sets of grandparents were able to make, so that was a special treat.

Gramps passed away last night and this is a big loss for our family. He will be truely missed.

When cousin G was here, we brought over dinner one night to Granny and Gramps. It was a great night! We had so much fun talking and laughing, it was great. Of course I had to take out my camera and take some family photos.
